Who We Are · 私たちについて
一般社団法人グローバル・クリスチャン教育センター
GCEC is a non-profit registered in Chiba, Japan. We exist to provide high-quality educational services, opportunities, and environments rooted in Christian values. We do this for our community and believe through education, Christ can be made known. By knowing Christ, we are changed for the better and thus can help better our communities and the world.

GCEC's Flagship School · 旗艦校
ヘリテージ・アカデミー
Heritage Academy is GCEC's international missions school in Inzai City, Chiba Prefecture — a six-year, Grades 7–12 program. Classes are taught in English with Japanese-language support at every grade. Middle School builds the English proficiency and study habits that college-level work requires; High School runs on dual-enrollment coursework with Crown College, so students can graduate with a Heritage Academy diploma and, for those who complete the coursework, a U.S. Associate of Arts degree.
ヘリテージ・アカデミーは、千葉県印西市に開校予定のGCECの国際ミッションスクールです。中学部2年間＋高校部4年間の 6年制（7〜12年生）プログラムで、英語による授業と各学年での日本語支援を行います。高校部ではクラウン・カレッジとの デュアル・エンロールメントを通じて、ヘリテージ卒業資格と米国準学士号（A.A.）取得の道を提供します。
言語・文化・人格
Heritage exists to do one thing well: equip students in language, culture, and character. Chapel, Bible & Christian Studies, and a shared vocabulary of values sit alongside math, science, and English in the core curriculum.
クラウン・カレッジとの提携
Crown College's courses are the backbone of the High School curriculum. Every student sits in the same Crown course; what differs is enrollment — for Crown college credit, or for Heritage credit only.
すべてのご家庭へ
Students of any nationality, language background, or faith are welcome, and there is no religious requirement for admission or graduation. Every enrolled family agrees to the school's Code of Conduct.
Why Heritage Exists · 建学の精神

"Heritage" carries a double meaning: Japan's own heritage, and each family's own roots. Heritage Academy treats every student as college-capable, enrolling both international students and Japanese nationals. Middle School builds English and equips for high school; High School builds academic fortitude and equips for the future — all centered on Christ.

The Program · プログラム
中高一貫・6年間のひとつの道
Heritage Academy spans Grades 7–12 as one continuous program, not two separate schools. Middle School follows Japan's April–March school year. High School follows Crown College's August calendar, and the Bridge Term — April 1 to July 31, between Grade 8 and Grade 9 — is what carries students from one to the other.
7年生から12年生までの6年間を、二つの学校ではなく一つの連続したプログラムとして設計。中学部は日本の4月〜3月の学年暦、 高校部はクラウン・カレッジの8月始まりの学年暦で学びます。その橋渡しとなるのが、8年生と9年生の間に置かれた ブリッジ・ターム（4月1日〜7月31日）です。
A two-year, English-immersion program. No prior English proficiency is required for entry, and there is no college coursework here: these two years exist so that every Grade 9 student arrives Crown-ready, by design.
Crown College's dual-enrollment courses are the curriculum and backbone of Heritage High School. One classroom, one Crown course, two levels of enrollment: every student sits in the same Crown lectures — what differs is enrollment.
Grade 12 runs August 1 to December 31, and diploma requirements are complete when the fall semester closes. The Heritage ceremony follows in March, alongside Japan's graduation season. The full four-year path totals 27.0 Heritage credits (Cr. H.A.) — 20 Crown courses, plus PE & Health and electives. A student who takes every Crown course for Heritage credit only earns the same diploma.
Students carrying courses on Crown's roster complete 60 Crown College credits (20 courses × 3) and receive a U.S. Associate of Arts degree in May, carrying Crown's spring semester through to the end. The diploma is the goal; the degree is the option — students choose how far to go.
Family & Community · 家庭と共同体
保護者は「お客様」ではなく「パートナー」です
Heritage is built with families, not just for them — the home is what makes a classroom generational. Parents join the life of the school through volunteer days at festivals, trips, and events; through family seminars held throughout the year; and through the Code of Conduct, a shared agreement covering conduct, attendance, and participation in school life that every enrolled family signs. There is no religious requirement for admission or graduation.
ヘリテージは、家庭「のため」だけでなく、家庭「とともに」つくる学校です。教室での学びを世代へとつなぐのは家庭だからです。 行事や遠足でのボランティア参加、年間を通じて開催される保護者セミナー、そして行動規範（Code of Conduct）への署名を通して、 保護者は学校共同体の一員となります。行動規範は、生活態度・出席・学校生活への参加について共有する取り決めです。 入学・卒業にあたって信仰は問いません。
Heritage Academy is preparing to open in Inzai City, Chiba in April 2028. The program, calendar, and course map describe the school as it is being built — details may be adjusted with Crown College before the doors open. ヘリテージ・アカデミーは2028年4月に千葉県印西市で開校予定です。教育課程・学年暦・履修モデルは開校に向けた計画であり、提携大学との調整により変更となる場合があります。

GCEC is a non-profit-type general incorporated association (非営利型一般社団法人) under Japanese law. Our Articles of Incorporation prohibit the distribution of surplus to members (Article 33) and require that residual assets upon dissolution be transferred to a public-benefit corporation or government body (Article 34). We are governed by a general assembly (社員総会) and board of directors (理事会), with independent auditing (監事).
